Now past the decade mark, Schwa remains near the cutting edge of Chicago dining, doing highly conceptual dishes with surprising flavors (though, curiously, little of the Asian flavors so common elsewhere), while keeping everything else casual and a little wild—it's still BYO, the atmosphere is still casual and the music is still too loud.
