Au Cheval bills itself as a late night diner, though the atmosphere is more like you're still at the bar than like where you go after to get some carbs after to soak it up. The fatty, indulgent food is eminently scarfable, especially after drinking, though like diner food, it's kind of all the same, not that that discourages the lines that form every night.
